# Tokenomics

### Historical Tokenomics

*Note: The mining phase has ended. The data below represents the historical emission schedule.*

The DNA supply cap is 16,180,339 DNA. The distribution followed a deflationary model featuring 3 "Cleavages" (halving periods). Each Cleavage reduced the staking rewards by 50%.

#### The Cleavage Milestones

* 1st Cleavage: Occurred at 8,090,169.5 DNA
* 2nd Cleavage: Occurred at 12,135,254.25 DNA
* 3rd Cleavage: Occurred at 14,157,796.625 DNA

#### Genesis Emission Rates

During the active mining epochs, rewards were calculated as follows (prior to halving effects):

* Subject X: Mined 4.8 DNA/day (0.2 DNA/hour).
* Subject X²: Mined 14.4 DNA/day (0.6 DNA/hour).
